Trans-Siberian Railway

On May 19, 2012, I departed on a trip that would take me from Moscow to Beijing via the Trans-Siberian Railway. Being from Vancouver, I needed a break from the rain and grey skies. I was able to swing a month off work so I decided it was time to “take the trip of a life time” (what everyone said when I told them what I was I doing) and hop on a train that would take me across Siberia, through Mongolia and into China. So with minimal research (you don’t want to spoil any surprises!) and train tickets in hand, I was off. Here is what happened:
